DynePass uses AES-256 encryption, the same standard used by governments and militaries worldwide. Your master password is hashed using PBKDF2 with 100,000 iterations, making brute-force attacks virtually impossible. All encryption happens locally on your device - your data is encrypted before it ever leaves your phone.

Unfortunately, if you forget your master password, there is no way to recover your data. This is by design - it's the reason DynePass is so secure. We recommend keeping a backup of your recovery key in a safe place. You can also use biometric unlock as a convenience feature while keeping your master password written down securely offline.

Free includes all core password management features - storage, encryption, biometric unlock, password generator, and Google Drive backup. Premium ($11.99 one-time) adds convenience features like TOTP 2FA generator, file attachments, multiple cloud providers, automatic backup, Wi-Fi Direct sync, and custom fields. Both versions have the same security level.

DynePass supports importing from most popular password managers including LastPass, 1Password, Bitwarden, Dashlane, and any manager that can export to CSV format. Just export your passwords from your current manager, then use DynePass's import feature. We support standard CSV formats and provide import templates.

Yes! Your vault is fully encrypted on your device before being uploaded to the cloud. Even if someone gains access to your cloud storage, all they'll see is encrypted data that's useless without your master password. Cloud providers (Google, Dropbox, etc.) only store the encrypted file - they never see your actual passwords.

We believe in ethical pricing. Your passwords are stored locally on your device, so we don't have ongoing server costs to justify monthly subscriptions. Premium features are built into the app, so once you buy it, it's yours forever. This also means your access to premium features can never be taken away or increased in price.
